AltiGen Communications Releases MaxCS Contact Center

AltiGen Communications, a unified communications solutions provider, recently announced the release of their MaxCS Contact Center. The contact center solution will run on the Microsoft Lync Server 2010.

AltiGen is a known provider of integrated Microsoft-based solutions. Representatives from Altigen stated that their latest contact center is ideal for companies interested in a deploying Microsoft technology and a complete call center solution.

The MacCS Contact Center for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 has a wide range of capabilities. These include Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), interactive voice response (IVR), advanced reporting, skills-based routing and call recording, among many others. This innovative solution is completely software-based. It can support 64 workgroups and up to 500 agents for every application server. In addition, the solution supports remote agents, virtualization and simultaneous logins.

Other features of the MaxCS contact center solution include customer relationship management (CRM) integration, work-group logon/logoff, queue monitoring, work-group performance statistics and work-group voice mail. All features are updated in real-time, thereby providing users with a seamless contact center experience. There is even a desktop tool, the MaxSupervisor, which allows supervisors in call centers to manage and coach agents and groups.

Niel Levonius, the director of corporate strategy at Altigen Communications, commented. He said, “Having been certified via Microsoft’s Open Interoperability Program for Office Communications Server 2007 R2, and as a charter member of Microsoft’s Technology Adoption Program for Lync Server 2010, AltiGen is uniquely able to deliver Contact Center applications tightly integrated with Lync Server 2010.”
