Epic Marketplace Partners with RingRevenue to Enable Phone Campaigns

Epic Markeplace, a provider of multichannel digital marketing solutions, recently announced a partnership with RingRevenue, a telephone marketing solution provider, with the goal of enabling phone based marketing campaigns for Epic clients in the United States and the United Kingdom. Epic Markeplace aims to leverage RingRevenue’s technology to give clients the ability to serve multichannel needs more effectively.

In the company’s release, they point to a Forrester Research report titled “Welcome to the Era of Agile Commerce” showing that consumers interact through touch points like websites, call centers, mobile apps/sites, in store interactions, and social media. The company says that the key to successful advertising campaigns is to create campaigns that engage customers across all the touch points customers interact with.

Exploding Channels

Don Mathis, Epic Marketplace’s President and CEO, comments on the way the partnership with RingRevenue will help businesses increase their success:

“Our goal at Epic is to give our clients a comprehensive package that addresses all of their advertising needs. For many types of products and services, especially big-ticket items, consumers want to speak with someone live. RingRevenue’s call performance marketing platform allows advertisers and agencies to create call-based campaigns that not only encourage and measure phone engagement but also deliver more customers and, ultimately, revenue to their business. We’ve seen how quickly the call-based channel is exploding and their team has a proven track record of success in this space.”

Jason Spievak, RingRevenue’s CEO, was optimistic about the benefits the partnership with Epic Marketplace would create:

“We are pleased to be partnering with Epic to deliver high-value inbound calls to their client base in the US and UK. Integrating call performance marketing together with their already powerful technology platform and award-winning marketing team is a combination that is sure to deliver brands more customers and more revenue.”

RingRevenue’s technology will be integrated with Epic Marketplace’s offering to provide additional functionalities. These additional capabilities will include real-time call analytics, performanced-based pricing controls, search keyword tracking, SMS campaign integration, and other features.

This move by Epic Marketplace focuses on providing multichannel functionality to its customers. I find that interesting because the trending interaction style of consumers is moving towards a multichannel future. Customers are increasingly expecting businesses to communicate with them over social media, through the phone, through email, and in person all while keeping track of the interactions that occur in each channel. I strongly believe that if contact centers don’t move to strong multichannel models of communication, they will become obsolete. Customers want to be able to talk to businesses however they choose. And they don’t want to repeat themselves–they expect businesses to keep track of interactions across all channels. Epic’s deal should significanly push its clients towards this multichannel future.
