LiveOps Appoints PayPal Executive Ryan D. Downs to Board of Directors

With Extensive Customer Service and Global Operations Expertise, Downs Brings the “Voice of the Customer” To LiveOps Board

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (September 30, 2008) –

LiveOps, the virtual call center company, today announced the appointment of Ryan D. Downs to its board of directors. As senior vice president of global operations at PayPal, Downs has extensive experience running a large customer service organization for one of the world’s leading online payment services. Joining the Board, he will have the unique opportunity to bring the customer point of view to the LiveOps leadership team.

Downs joined PayPal in 2001 and is currently responsible for consumer service, merchant service and risk operations, among other functions.

Prior to PayPal, Downs served as CEO for eTopia Technologies, Inc., an Omaha-based IT consulting firm. Before that, Downs was a partner at the law firm of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott in Denver, Colo., where he specialized in complex commercial litigation.

Downs earned a B.S. in Agricultural Sciences in 1991 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1994.
