TriageLogic announces the complete implementation of its Call Center Solution at University Hospital’s Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital located in Cleveland, OH. TriageLogic has long been a provider of quality and affordable triage solutions in healthcare.

The Cleveland, OH hospital houses one of the country’s largest nurse triage programs. The installation of the Call Center Solution software system at the Rainbow Call Center is a positioned as a perfect example of TriageLogic’s ability to customize, implement and upgrade its specialized application to best suit the needs of the client.

According to Dr. Andrew Hertz, Rainbow Call Center’s medical director, Rainbow staff has worked to seamlessly to merge TriageLogic’s Call Center Solution into its portfolio of call center services. Some of these services include medical messaging and nurse telephone triage. Rainbow uses the call center application to meet the needs of patients while fielding more than 250,000 total calls a year and supporting over 1,000 physicians in seven states.

Dr. Hertz shared that the reason Rainbow selected the call center solution by TriageLogic for a number of reasons, including the fact that their CEO is a former pediatrician and has insight into the unique needs of pediatric on-call applications. Dr. Hertz was also impressed with their eye for innovation as well as concern for client satisfaction.

TriageLogic’s Call Center Solution uses an application combining a decision-tree support tool with a format to decrease call-processing time for nurses while providing information that is more useful for the caller.

The Rainbow triage staff works on location at the call center, as well as remotely, to handle medical calls. The clients appreciate being able to access the software remotely to make changes to their physician on-call schedule and to view patient notes and physician pages.
